Need plans for the weekend?  Here are the free events for this weekend.

Also, be sure to check out your local library for fun things to do.  There is great programming at our local libraries – and it’s almost always free.  Don’t forget, kids can read books for prizes with Barnes & Noble!

American Girl Stores

Most American Girl Store events cost.  But there are a few that are free.  Events vary by store. You can check out upcoming events at a store near you here.

Storytime:
 The Dinosaur Expert
During a field trip to the museum, Kimmy loves to share what she knows about dinosaurs, but when someone asks if girls can be paleontologists, Kimmy loses her voice. Will she find it again? Join us for Storytime and get a coupon from our Cafe for a grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for $4!

Don’t forget to pick up your reading log at Barnes & Noble so you can read for a FREE book! 

Disney Store:

Saturday, August 18th @ 3:00pm
Celebrate Mickey Mouse!  Guests will take part in activities that re-live some of the famous stories of Mickey and Minnie’s time. Each participant will receive a Free pair of paper Mickey Ears!

Join us in Store every Saturday at 10 a.m. for a great story! We’ll read lots of exciting books, perfect for all ages.

Don’t forget about Lifeway’s Summer Reading program!  Kids can earn a FREE book and new Bible!

Williams-Sonoma:

It looks like Williams-Sonoma has stopped having FREE cooking classes for kids.  And at $30 per kid per class, I’m afraid they’ve priced us out!
